WARRANTY TERMS

Laptop and desktop computers (5th generation processors & newer) are covered by a limited 1-year warranty (365 days) from the date of purchase.

Laptop or desktop computers sold under clearance are covered by a 90-day warranty.

Cell phones, tablets, monitors, speakers, cables, adapters, Android boxes or Amazon Fire Sticks, camera systems, laptop bags, and all other accessories are covered by a 90-day warranty, unless otherwise stated.

The warranty covers all hardware defects, including replacement parts and labor.

New batteries are covered by a 1-year warranty. Used batteries are not covered. They are tested to ensure a minimum operating time of 30 minutes.

This warranty does not cover:

1. Liquid damage

2. Damage caused accidentally or intentionally by drops or impact

3. Negligence

4. Unauthorized hardware or operating system modifications

5. Products with altered or removed serial numbers

6. Products with removed or damaged security seals

7. Damage to connectors (power jacks, USB ports, Ethernet ports, charging circuits, etc.)

8. Damage caused by external factors (power surges, fire, flooding, storms, hail, etc.)

9. Software issues, virus infections, trojans, or malware

10. Software incompatibility

11. Data loss or corruption caused by the user, a virus, or a defective component

12. Operating system reinstallation (warranty does not cover data or software recovery)

13. Repairs or maintenance performed by an unauthorized third party

14. Improper use (overclocking, mining, cryptocurrency farms, etc.)

Warranty procedure

To make a warranty claim, the customer must present their invoice in-store. For online purchases, return shipping is at the customer’s expense.

Les distributions Électro-Shop commits to repairing any defective device within 48 business hours (Monday to Friday), unless a part must be ordered. We are not responsible for supplier delivery delays.

Defective products (remedies)

In the event of a defect covered by the warranty, Électro-Shop will prioritize repair. If repair is not possible within a reasonable time, the customer may receive:

– an exchange for a product of equivalent value or performance, or

– a store credit applicable toward a future purchase.

No cash refunds are offered.

Limitation of liability

Les distributions Électro-Shop shall not be held liable for data loss, service interruptions, material damage, physical or financial harm, loss of use, loss of profits, or any other indirect damages, regardless of the cause.

RETURN POLICY

We do not accept refunds. For non-defective purchases, exchanges only are offered under the conditions below.

Change of mind (exchanges)

We accept exchanges within 15 days from the purchase date, subject to the following conditions:

1. Proof of purchase must be provided

2. The item must be in the same condition as at the time of purchase

3. It must show no physical damage

4. No hardware or software modifications must have been made

5. Serial numbers and security seals must be intact

6. New items must be in their original packaging with all accessories and manuals

Online purchase

Before returning an item for exchange, you must obtain email confirmation approving your request. To submit a request, please contact us via our contact form. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

SHIPPING POLICY

Processing time: up to 2 business days. Shipping: 24 to 48 hours depending on the delivery address.
